HAHN’S TRIGGERING WORDS

Re “Hahn doubles down on hurtful rants” (Editorial, Aug. 28): Fred “Horrible” Hahn’s words are in danger of triggering me; and, since by this excellent editorial I have now been made aware of the support for “Horrible’s” appalling words and loathsome useful-idiot-position by no less a person than Sid “Vicious” Ryan himself, I know that I am right (meaning: correct) to be justly triggered; and, so I write. Anti-Semitism is right (meaning: appropriate) for such scummy, loathsome types like “Horrible” Hahn. Anti-Semitism is still illegal and considered toxic in normal, values-driven, honourable Canada, is it not? It is, isn’t it? Where is the febrile, feckless, furtive Trudeau-deux’s government in all this: I guess safe spaces, respectful treatment, and freedom from hate are only expected de jure for certain currently favoured, politically valued minority groups in this sophomoric and vapid Trudeau’s Canada. Not Pierre’s country now, eh, and not, in my Canada, a safe-haven for anti-Semitism ever please.

MASK OFF

Re “Police in a suburban New York county have made their first arrest under a new law banning face masks” (The Associated Press, Aug. 27): I think we should enforce the same law. This is the same as accessible parking. Ninety per cent of our protesting problems solved.

TRUDEAU IS SINGH’S REFLECTION

Read the article where it says Justin Trudeau ordered binding arbitration on the railway strike (“Caved to ‘greed,'” The Canadian Press, Aug. 23). Jagmeet Singh, who has the power to force an election, doesn’t like it. Says Trudeau is cowardly for doing so. Really? This man must look in the mirror and see not only his but Justin’s reflection as well. The only reason he has not forced an election is because he knows he wouldn’t win his riding either and this would mean no golden pension — that is cowardly.

(Singh has the best of both worlds — he can feign anger with Trudeau while at the same time keep him in office until his pension is fully vested. He has no reason to stop supporting Trudeau, and millions of reasons to continue to do so.)
