Student Fiscal Services processes online, check, wire, financial aid and scholarship payments for tuition. If you are helping your student pay for tuition, your student must submit an online Information Release Authorization to give family members to tuition billing and reminders.

Overview. UW divides its accounting records into periods consisting of two fiscal years, called a "biennium." Fiscal Year 2024 will end on June 30th, 2024, and is the first year of the current biennium. When financial aid is disbursed to a student's account, it is applied to the student's account balance. If there is a credit remaining after all tuition and fees are paid, the student's account is reviewed to determine if the credit should be refunded to the student.

Housing and dining charges are billed on a quarterly basis. Payment is due the third Friday of the quarter. Any additional charges placed on your account throughout the quarter are due the first of the following month.
